Come lanciare un restomod sul mercato internazionaleHow to launch a restomod on the international market

Andrea Mazzuca, AM Ventures  |

In sintesi

The restomod market has grown fast, and so has the number of ateliers offering an outstanding car. The product alone is no longer enough: what makes the difference is how the brand reaches the market. These are the steps we followed for the launch of Brado, the Motor Valley atelier behind the Carbon Buggy.

1. Positioning comes before the product

A restomod isn't sold on its spec sheet. Before any communication, you need to define the segment you compete in and the value that justifies the price. For Brado the choice was luxury fun: an object of collection and experience, built around the pleasure of driving, not just a reinterpretation of a classic.

2. Build demand before the launch

The pre-launch campaign is where much of the result is decided. Content, project storytelling and community engagement delivered over 400 leads in three months and 300,000 organic social views in 60 days, with no media spend.

3. Start from an existing community

A new brand has no audience. The partnership with Outlierman, a luxury lifestyle automotive brand with a database of 10,000 international car enthusiasts, made it possible to speak to the right enthusiasts and collectors from day one.

4. A system to manage leads

High-value products have long sales cycles. Without a system, contacts get lost. A CRM built on the real sales process, with lead capture from website and events and automated follow-ups, turns interest into negotiations.

5. International press as a value lever

Clear messages and a consistent story led to over 60 outlets in 18 countries, with 100% positive sentiment. Coverage isn't just visibility: it's proof of credibility that supports the price and shortens negotiations.

6. Distribution and sales network

The last step is making the product available in the right markets, through commercial agreements for international sales and distribution.

In short

An international launch works when positioning, demand, community, sales system and reputation are built together, not one after the other.
